The Lovettsville Historical Society will hold its Annual Membership Meeting at 2:00 on Sunday, December 9, at the Lovettsville Museum, 4 East Pennsylvania Avenue in Lovettsville (in front of the Town Hall).<\/p>\n
The meeting is open to all members and prospective members, and will feature an exhibition of the Museum’s new design and displays. Over the past year and one-half, the Museum, has been undergoing a much-needed interior renovation and reconfiguration, to the delight of visitors, who find it much brighter and more spacious than before.<\/p>\n
Many new displays are also featured at the Museum, which first opened in 1976. Today, the Lovettsville Museum is the only small-town museum in Loudoun County solely dedicated to telling the story of the community in which it is located.<\/p>\n
The Annual Meeting will also include a report on the past year’s activities and acquisitions, as well as upcoming events for 2019. Elections for the 2019 Board of Directors will be held. Voting is restricted to paid-up members, so if you are not a member, or if your membership has lapsed, we urged you to join, or renew<\/a><\/strong>, today.<\/p>\n Refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n The Lovettsville Historical Society, Inc. is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
