Family & Friends of Mount Sinai Cemetery gathered at the cemetery site on April 10 to begin the process of clearing part of the property in anticipation of eventually clearing the entire site and restoring the cemetery.\u00a0 Since the property is privately owned, we only had the owner’s consent to clear the part of the property where gravestones are visible.\u00a0 There are about 12 graves which are marked, but neighbors have reported that there could be as many as 100 burials on the site.<\/p>\n
