May 17, 2009: LHS Annual Meeting, with presentations on the History of Lovettsville and the German Settlement (Tom Bullock) and “How We Got Here” on German emigration routes to the German Settlement (Edward Spannaus).

July 19, 2009 Sept. 13, 2009:  Between Hawk and Buzzard: Civil War Life in a War-Torn Border County,”  by Taylor Chamberlin and John Souders, authors of Between Reb and Yank: A Civil War History of Northern Loudoun County.
