The Lovettsville Historical Society will hold its 2017 Annual Membership Meeting at 2:00 on Sunday, December 3, at the Lovettsville Museum, 4 East Pennsylvania Avenue in Lovettsville.
The meeting is open to all members and prospective members, and will feature an exhibition of the remodeled Museum’s new design and displays. The Museum, which first opened in 1976, recently received a much-needed interior renovation, including new lighting and three new exhibits – which was done in time for the Oktoberfest celebration in September.
The Lovettsville Museum is the only small-town museum in Loudoun County solely dedicated to telling the story of the town in which it is located.
The Annual Meeting will also include a report on the past year’s activities and acquisitions, as well as upcoming events for 2018. Elections for the Board of Directors will be held.
